Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Antonia Loyzaga delivered her message at the 2023 General Assembly of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines on February 22 in Manila and assured the municipal executives of support from the DENR for their environmental concerns. The Secretary acknowledged their role in the protection of the environment and our natural resources and expressed the Department’s goal of working with local chief executives in the review of existing environmental laws. ###
