Former Department of Environment and Natural Resources Acting Secretary Jim O. Sampulna expresses gratitude to the heroes of the Manila Bay rehabilitation who have given invaluable support to the DENR in what seemed to be an “impossible dream” to clean up the historic bay. A total of 22 individuals, government agencies, organizations, and private entities from the Manila Bay Region – National Capital Region (NCR), Regions 3 and 4A – were recognized as “Manila Bay-ani” on June 14, 2022 in the City of Manila.###
