Eddie V. Lupio, Jr., a Forest Technician I of DENR-CENRO Panabo City was declared Champion in the 14th edition of the DENR National Statistical Quiz held last October 22, 2019at the EMB Air Quality Management Training Center.Lupio bested other contestants from 14 other regions.

Pia S. Cariño of Region 5 finished first-runner up while Emelyn Joyce E. Nuguid of NCR was named second-runner up. For their feat, Lupio received Php 15,000 cash and plaque as champion while Cariño and Nuguid received Php10,000 and Php7,000 cash as first and second-runners up winners.

The 2019 DENR National Statistical Quiz was organized by the DENR Technical Committee on Statistical Concerns and Coordination and Statistics and Data Resource Management Division. The quiz contestis part of the 30^th National Statistics Month celebration of DENR with the theme “Data Innovation: Key to a Better Nation. Innovate. Collaborate. Communicate”.
