The Department of Environment and Natural Resources in Region IX has documented the breeding of the critically endangered Philippine eagle in the Zamboanga Peninsula particularly in Baliguian, Zamboanga del Norte, Pasonanca Natural Park in Zamboanga City, and in Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur. ###
