Environment Secretary Antonia Loyzaga highlighted the Philippine priority on concrete climate action at the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 78) High-Level Dialogue on Financing for Development roundtable: Scaling Up Affordable and Accessible International Public Financing for Sustainable Development and Ensuring Efficiency last September 20 in New York City. Loyzaga added the country’s actions and initiatives to advance the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. She said the Philippines is adopting a holistic approach to achieve sustainable economic growth, while safeguarding the population and resources from climate change.
