Environment Secretary Antonia Loyzaga expressed her gratitude to the “hardworking and dedicated” employees of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), noting that the agency’s accomplishments were made possible with the cooperation and support of the workforce, including the successful visit of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. to the DENR during the Philippine Environment Month, the 160th Philippine Forestry Service anniversary celebrations, several multi-stakeholder fora, and the launch of the Extended Producer Responsibility Act. Loyzaga rallied DENR workers to continuously work together in fulfilling the agency’s mandate of managing risk and building resilience, and its mission of protecting, conserving, restoring, and regenerating our environment and natural resources.
