Selected staff from Barangays Vitalez, Tambo, Don Galo and Santo Niño in Parañaque recently participated in a Forum on Environment and Natural Resource (ENR) Technologies conducted by the Toxic and Hazardous Wastes Research, Development and Extension Center (THWRDEC) of the Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau, in coordination with the Metropolitan Environmental Office – South. The forum is in preparation for the implementation of the Floating Garden Phytoremediation Technology, a strategy to help improve water quality in tributaries of Manila Bay through the use of pollutant-absorbent species of plants. The forum was held at the covered court of Brgy. Vitalez.
