The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) SOCCSKSARGEN (Region 12) entry in the Pasiklaban talent contest featuring a festive cultural dance number accompanied by energetic drum beats is shown during the 35th anniversary celebration of the agency on June 10, 2022 at the DENR Multi-purpose Building. The lively performance earned for the region the first place in the virtual category of the competition. The 2nd and 3rd prize winners were Region 3 and Region 11, respectively. Former DENR Acting Secretary Jim O. Sampulna praised the winners for coming up with energetic performances despite the challenges of a virtual presentation. The contest is the highlight of the DENR anniversary. ###
