Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo Loyzaga (left) plants a Kawayang Tinik culm during the nationwide simultaneous tree planting activity to mark the 65th birthday of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. on September 13, 2022, and in observance of the Philippine Bamboo Month. A total of 1,613 seedlings including Kawayang Tinik, Agojo and Mango were planted by 525 volunteers at the old sanitary landfill in Bgy. Pintong Bocaue, San Mateo, Rizal. ###
