Forest Ranger Jan Philip Peralta (left) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR-PENRO) Sorsogon retrieves the Oriental honey buzzard (inset) from Romeo Ibañez (right), a resident of Barangay Caburacan, Castilla, Sorsogon. The turnover was facilitated by DENR Undersecretary for Solid Waste Management and Local Government Units Concerns Benny D. Antiporda after he was informed by Jeson Libdan, a member of the Makati Eagles Club of the incident. Antiporda immediately communicated with PENRO Officer Tito Migo to assist in the rescue of the raptor.
