The landmark partnership seeks to strengthen conservation and protection efforts in Marine Protected Areas and maintain the balance and ecological integrity of the country’s marine ecosystems. Among the streamlined agreements are the facilitation of capacity-building activities, enforcement of wildlife laws, and development of incidence-reporting mechanisms. The ceremonial signing, held at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center, coincided with the global observance of World Oceans Day on June 8, 2022.###
