As part of its 35th founding anniversary celebration, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) on June 20 kicked off the “HR@ Ur Service” project to provide employees with a convenient transaction processing system on several basic government and leisure services.
“The DENR, through the Human Resource and Development Service (HRDS) has brought the services of some government agencies and private companies closer to avail of,” former Acting Secretary Jim O. Sampulna said in his message read by Strategic Communication and Initiatives Service Director Khalil S. Bayam.
“Hindi na natin kailangang pumunta sa kanila. Sila na ang pumunta sa atin. Let us avail the services offered by our partners,” he told the DENR employees.
Government agencies that took part in the event include the Philippine Statistics Authority for request of birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate, certificate of no marriage record; Philippine Identification System for the national ID; Professional Regulation Commission for renewal of professional license ID; and Pag-IBIG Fund for member’s verification, update and correction of records, multi-purpose loan application, request for merging and consolidation of records, accepting APB claims, application and issuance of Loyalty Card Plus, and application of PAG-IBIG MP2 membership.
Meanwhile, the Social Security System provided assistance for the My.SSS Registration, verification of records, and total number of contributions; the Land Transportation Office (LTO) assisted in the application for student permits, renewal of driver’s license, and renewal of vehicle registration; and the National Bureau of Investigation offered processing of clearance.
DENR-National Capital Region also joined the event for the distribution of seedlings of vegetables and fruit-bearing trees, while the Forestry Savings and Loan Association, Inc. offered services in membership loan application.
Institutions and private organizations that also joined the event were Essentials Derm Factor, OJO Eye Wear, Sunlife, Manulife, FWD Insurance, PruLife Insurance, St. Peter Life Plan, S&R Membership Shopping, Landers, and ActivAsia.
Sampulna added the HRDS revived HR@UrService so that employees whose activities have been hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic could finally avail the services they needed.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has long delayed several activities of many DENR employees, including obtaining necessary government-mandated documents, correction or renewal in their documents, or merely an application of membership or permits. With this activity, we were able to solve these difficulties,” he said. ###
