Santolan, Pasig City, during the launch of Phase 2 of the Marikina River Restoration Project in the city on July 21. Cimatu praised the rolling community PanTREE project started and popularized by the DENR-National Capital Region (NCR) led by its director Jacqueline A. Caancan (right) after it was replicated nationwide by DENR regional offices and private organizations. The project started in April 2021 and aims to help address the issue of food security in Metro Manila as well as promote resiliency in the midst of the pandemic and climate change by giving free vegetable and fruit-bearing seedlings to the public.
