Conche (left), Information Officer of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Catanduanes. The PENRO found the marine turtle (inset) in good health and released it back to the sea. The DENR has called on the public to turn over rescued wildlife to proper authorities for proper assessment and care. Hawksbill turtles are classified as critically endangered under DENR Administrative Order No. 2019-09. ###
