The best among the best of Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) line bureau regional directors are accorded the Environmental Awards for Governance and Leadership Excellence or EAGLE Award 2020 by Environment Secretary Roy A. Cimatu (2nd from left in both photos) on June 10 at the DENR Central Office in Quezon City as part of the DENR 34th anniversary. In left photo, Mines and Geosciences Bureau Region 2 Regional Director Engr. Mario Ancheta (3rd from left) and in right photo, Environmental Management Bureau Cordillera Administrative Region Regional Director Ma. Victoria Abrera (2nd from right) both received a trophy and cash prize in the amount of Php 75,000. Ancheta has been in the DENR for 22 years and Abrera for 33 years.
