Regional Executive Directors, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officers and Community Environment and Natural Resources, and other key representatives of the winning DENR regional offices for the Recognizing Individuals/Institutions towards Vibrant and Enhanced Rivers (R.I.V.E.Rs) for Life Award of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) receive their plaques and prizes from Undersecretary for Field Operations – Luzon, Visayas and Environment Juan Miguel T. Cuna (sixth from left) during the DENR 35th anniversary celebration at the DENR Central Office on June 10, 2022. The Panlibatuhan Creek of Region 10 was named 1st place winner; Apayao-Abulog River of the Cordillera Administrative Region, 2nd place; and Taguibo River of DENR Region 13, 3rd place. DENR Acting Secretary Jim O. Sampulna lauded the winners for helping achieve the agency’s mission and vision. ###
