Participants of the ASEAN Conference on Medicinal Forest Trees (ACMFT) organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau (DENR-ERDB) join the study tour of native and exotic medicinal plants grown at the Leonie Agri Corp. (LAC) farm in Nueva Ecija. LAC is engaged in the production and processing of wholly organic-certified agricultural products such as lagundi (Vitex negundo), malunggay (Moringa oleifera) and ginger (Zingiber officinale) for medicinal, health and nutritional use. A total of 117 delegates from the Philippines and ASEAN countries participated in the three-day conference held in Pampanga. ###
