Joel Tabora, SJ (right) during the Mindanao Environment Summit held Thursday at the AdDU. The agenda contains the state of the Mindanao environment, including recommendations to address the environmental issues raised by mining communities. Some 4,000 participants, mostly representatives from civil society organizations, students and indigenous groups attended the summit with theme, OYA MINDANAW, was co-organized by the DENR and AdDU as a strategy for the government to interact closer with the environment’s stakeholders. ###
