Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Undersecretary for Integrated Environmental Science Carlos Primo David discusses how the DENR Geospatial Database Office, a new office under his helm, monitors the progress in the Department’s biodiversity conservation and reforestation through satellite imagery. David said ecosystem monitoring is one important aspect of the implementation of the Kunming Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. He was among the panelists in the segment on Commitment to Enhancing Biodiversity during the celebration of the International Day for Biological Diversity held on May 22 at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center in Quezon City.
