Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Undersecretary for Legal, Administration, Human Resources and Legislative Affairs Undersecretary Ernesto Adobo, Jr. (2nd from left) receives from United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Philippines Environment Office Deputy Chief Paul Seong (3rd from right) the symbolic key of the first-ever wildlife ambulance donated by USAID to the Philippines. The ambulance, fully-equipped for wildlife handling, tagging, and onsite veterinary examination, will improve the DENR’s response time in wildlife rescue and retrieval, and provide immediate onsite care for injured or trafficked wildlife.
