Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) General Manager Jaime C. Medina (left) welcomes Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad), and companies under the Manuel V. Pangilinan (MVP) group as partners in its project to conserve and protect Laguna de Bay. Medina and the company officials simultaneously signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to formally commence the partnership which is part of MPIC’s Laguna de Bay Welfare Awareness (LAWA) program. The virtual event held on August 23, 2021 was attended by Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Undersecretary for Attached Agencies Rodolfo C. Garcia, LLDA Assistant General Manager Gener Dungo, MPIC Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan, Maynilad President and Chief Executive Officer Ramoncito S. Fernandez, and other key officials of the partner companies. The LLDA is an attached agency of the DENR. ###
