Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Antonia Loyzaga (5th from left) met Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Chief Representative to the Philippines Sakamoto Takema (6th from left) for a courtesy call meeting at the DENR Central Office in Quezon City on May 29. They discussed possible areas of cooperation on top of DENR and JICA’s ongoing project, The Forestland Management Project, which aims to rehabilitate degraded forestlands in three critical river basins in the country – Upper Magat and Cagayan River Basin, Pampanga River Basin, and Jalaur River Basin.
