The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has set its sight on strengthening the enforcement of environmental laws and implementation of solid waste management programs as part of enhanced efforts in the rehabilitation of Manila Bay with the creation of Metropolitan Environmental Offices (MEOs) in the north, south, east, and west sectors of the National Capital Region.
