The new Chief Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Philippines Office Sakamoto Takema (left) pays a courtesy call to Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Acting Secretary Jim O. Sampulna on May 16, 2022 at the DENR Central Office. Sakamoto, who took on his new post in May 2022, laid out the two projects of JICA with the DENR on forest land management and solid waste management, and affirmed to strengthen the partnership between the two agencies. ###
