The facility will serve as a temporary storage for confiscated chemicals before these are permanently disposed of in compliance with Republic Act 6969 or the Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Wastes Control Act of 1990. The construction of the facility will be funded by the Pollution Adjudication Board.
