Department of Environment and Natural Resources-National Capital Region (DENR-NCR) Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan (2nd from left) gives her opening message during the relaunching of the 3rd Gawad Taga-ilog (GTI): Search for the Most Improved Estero in the National Capital Region (NCR) held in Quezon City. The GTI is the annual region-wide search for the most improved waterways in the 16 cities and 1 municipality of the NCR. The environmental competition started in 2020 and has since steadily gained the participation of local government units which altogether supports the rehabilitation of Manila Bay.
