In its mission to deliver environmental, social and economic development for local government units nationwide, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) launches Project TRANSFORM (Transdisciplinary Approach for Resilient and Sustainable Communities) for three municipalities of Surigao del Norte – Burgos, San Francisco and Malimono. This project is in partnership with the National Resilience Council (NRC), Energy Development Corporation (EDC), Peace and Equity Foundation (PEF), Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), Zuellig Family Foundation (ZFF), and the municipalities of Surigao del Norte.
