Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Assistant Secretary for Field Operations – Luzon and Visayas and Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) Director in Concurrent Capacity Gilbert C. Gonzales in his speech during the Speakers Bureau Training expressed the Department’s aim to enable its workforce to effectively disseminate the important provisions of the the Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) Act of 2022 or Republic Act 11898 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. Held on March 29 to 31 in Quezon City, more than 50 employees from the DENR Central Office and EMB participated in the training meant to equip them with the knowledge and skills to communicate a standardized messaging on EPR law to various stakeholders for its proper implementation. The event is in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme.#
